Having trouble on deciding where to celebrate this Fourth of July? Well, all along the Grand Strand there will be several events that will celebrate Independence Day in a great way! “A Salute to the Nation and Military” will take place in Pawleys Island and will feature a concert band, vocalists, and speakers. This event is sponsored by Knights of Columbus 11028 and Assembly 3272, and will be held at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church baseball field and is sure to be a great time with family and friends! The town of Surfside Beach is gearing up for a spectacular fireworks show that will start at 9:30 p.m. There will also be food, inflatables, water pool slide, entertainment, free watermelon and ice cream, and t-shirts for sale that will all begin from 6-10 p.m. All you need to bring is your family, friends, and a beach chair! In Murrells Inlet, there will be the annual “Fourth of July Boat Parade and Fireworks Show,” which starts at 10 a.m. The fireworks show will be at 9:45 p.m. and it will be an awesome display of the best fireworks around! So this Fourth of July, come on out and help celebrate all across the Grand Strand.
